Dr. ANDREA PITKIN

Dr. Andrea Pitkin comes to the Cambridge team after spending 15 years in private practice, academia, and the animal health industry. The former Director of Swine Research at South Dakota State University, she received her B.S., M.S. in Infectious Disease, and her DVM and Certificate of Swine Medicine all from the University of Minnesota.

As our US Swine Health Specialist, Dr. Pitkin will oversee the development and execution of industry health updates while managing research partnerships in the field and building strategies and awareness of how our products add value. She will also provide technical advice and support to promote sales.

Dr. Pitkin’s diverse background gives her multiple perspectives on how to approach health and husbandry concerns. She is excited to be in a position that puts her on the leading edge of new research promoting high health, assisting producers in not only raising healthier pigs but also increasing efficiency and profitability in their operations. She has a genuine passion for the swine industry and is looking forward to building partnerships with veterinarians from around the country.
